in the bigger picture... it is a loss of an individual's rights versus the gain of a corporation's rights

The only thing that is loss is that the company will not pay for and abortion pill. If you want to keep from having a baby from unprotected sex, go buy your own pills. The people/government will pay for them. These are companies that are owned by 4 or 5 people and do not beleive in abortion. Liberals, please get your facts straight and stop believing the crap coming from the women's right groups.

Who do you work for? I'll bet whoever it is, they pay for the majority of your medical expenses unless of course you are self employed, and in that case you have a right to do what you want. But you don't have a right to deny an employee their rights just because you happen to disagree with their method of birth control. I guess you want us to go back to the dark ages when women had to go to another building once a month and were considered unclean. You are a neanderthal buddy. The religious right is just like the Taliban in their own closed minded way, sans the car bombs.
Who do you work for? I'll bet whoever it is, they... (show quote)

When and where did these so called rights come from, I have yet to see a liberal address that issue. And please tell me how the case has stripped the employees of Hobby Lobby of any rights... You won't because you have no good basis for an argument and you do not even know what the decision says...

Hey, I have a little tit for tat on that taliban statement of yours that is much more accurate and appropriate.

Liberals are like Ghangis Khan, they would enslave us all and take from us what is rightfully ours...

How have women lost? Any female employee of Hobby Lobby, or any other company, can freely go and buy any contraceptive they want to use.

The ruling only says that Hobby Lobby doesn't have to pay for about four contraceptives that induce abortions. They still provide money for a much larger number of different contraceptives.

Not at all. It was your statement that was idiotic, to say the least and in a moderate, humble way.
And, btw, do not call me an idiot. We have had enough of your inflammatory name calling on this forum.

Let me see.... Did I call you an Idiot... NO

Did I call your statement Idiotic....Yes...

Major difference there Swede

And I challenge (that will not be taken) that you go back through 100 of my posts and see how many inflammatory names I have called anyone... And if you do find one or two or even 100, you will notice a major thing.... They are in response to names I was called....

Don't worry about that, Marblclear, emotions are high on both sides and people are being mean. I was furious yesterday because I am very much pro-choice and to me, this is on the road to taking our rights away. HL stands as a very self-righteous company and the religious owners, the Greens, are not so smart, in my opinion. They'd better have a lot of crafty conservative women shopping or they may be in a heap of trouble. I may be wrong about that, but women are boycotting and I've no reason to think they won't. Time will tell.

Some women cannot use oral birth control and the only option open to those women is an IUD. HL has chosen to believe that religion trumps medicine and has put their judgement on that. Getting an IUD costs from $500-$1000. Whatever. I just hope this does not become law for everyone...our nation is regressing because of the Republican Supremes. The Republicans on UHH can pretend this is wrong, denouncing it any way they want but women see this as the Republican war on women.

If you read through this thread I have made a cogent argument surrounding this decision, something that you are clearly unable to do... But I would welcome the opportunity to read your attempt.

My goodness I didn't know we had so many lawyers that know so much about the ACA. And also all the doctors that know so much about a woman's body. It just makes me proud to be counted among these experts.

It's amazing to see the difference in reporting this event between CNN and FOX.

The angry people are on CNN, and the happy people are on FOX.

Both networks have more than their fair share of idiots and quacks. The sooner you realize that, the better. No one should be required to surrender his/her religious beliefs because they own a business. On the other hand, female employees should be able to secure health care consistent with their beliefs on conception and reproduction. If they work for Hobby Lobby, health care coverage on those difficult choices should be made available to them at no additional cost. They should not be forced to pay extra money simply to accommodate their employer's religious beliefs. Some idiot will say, "Well, they don't have to work for Hobby Lobby." Get real. In this economy, people have to take jobs where they can find them.

You said:typical idiot response not that my statement was idiotic. .THAT's the difference. And if you cannot understand the difference...well, it's not for me to help you with that.
