Offense is taken by the one "offended". Being offended is a chosen response on the part of the one who is offended--if even an unconscious [unthinking, reflexive] response.

Blaming the object or person which triggered the reaction of being offended, one has handed over causality to the object/person over one's way of being.

Offense is more often taken than it is intended. That's the nature of email where facial expression and body posture of the originator is left to the imagination of the one reading the post.

Self-righteousness and being offended are closely connected.

Are you 'offended' by what is written above? If so, ask yourself who is the one creating (choosing) the state of being offended.

I found the list of choices of sexual orientation interesting on social, political, religious and biological levels. While living in this matrix of deception, the 'prod' of this survey question seems designed to inflame ... divide. The image of the survey question is another prop (as in theater prop) in the big control drama of 'divide and conquer'.

Perhaps I'm just wearing a tinfoil hat.

I think that that has its roots in an old joke about Chinese women. (Much too nasty to repeat here or anywhere)

Now you've got me curious. Can't you clean it up?

The problem with offending people is that in a room full of people there will always be someone offended by something. That doesn't mean that the offensive thing should be banned. U.S. money wouldn't be able to have the word God on it, or be green because green is offensive to some people, or maybe we couldn't sing our national anthem before a sporting event because it offends someone. If you are offended by what I said, I suggest you grow some thicker skin or go see a shrink. Life is too short to be offended by something that might be one persons choice but not another persons choice.

But "other" was answered by Senator Cochran, "been romantic with farm animals..." his audience cheered .. appears that they had the same Republican Family values as Cochran. By the way Cochran was winner in the Republican Primary after proudly giving his confession. If his romance was with a Black Sheep he then broke the Ol'Miss Anti-Miscengeneration laws.

This thread started out as an innocent one regarding sex and perhaps perversion, and you had to go and dirty it up with politics?

Now that you did, however, it's worth noting that the Republicans and Tea Party were in the process of rejecting Cochran and it was the crossover Democrats saving his career for at least one more term.

If you look at what ITpurs wrote it was this:

So, there are two idiots posting here, DJ Craig and ITpurs. Why "Spain" was written thus will it seems, remain a mystery.

I'll just repeat what I wrote earlier and leave it at that - some things are better left un-posted.
