I stopped in the middle of my post to look back.

Continuing, I have a suspicion (only a suspicion) that you think I insulted you.

That was not the case, at least this time.

The post you refer to was intended to refer to bcheary.

If you feel insulted, I got two for the price of one, but the second (you) was not intended.

I guess I didn't make myself clear originally.

Understand and I take two ?? back. Thanks and have a good day.

I manage a trip to the US every two years. I don't recognize the place. I'm just trying to understand what happened in the 30 years I've been gone.

On the surface it looks like a simple divide and conquer move by the oligarchy.

Two words for you you miserable libertard and the second one is "off" but then I wouldn't expect you to have the intelligence to come up with the right fill in. Crawl back into your cave.  :hunf:

Cruz is such a putz. I wonder if "deferred action" is why his father risked coming to Canada then the US? I have never understood the policy of allowing the Cubans a free pass into the US but no one else. if you travel to Cuba, then central America where most of these kids come from, it is better in Cuba then there. People come here because they want a better life. That's why Cruz is here and that's why those children are here. So why, if we are going to keep Cruz, aren't we going to keep them....

Interesting. The USA has a significant breached border situation. Instead of just acknowledging that there is a significant situation with more than 50,000 children some that may have contagious diseases that we (USA) are not equipped to handle. This is just a small laundry list of a burden that the southern states are not prepared to handle. Furthermore the southern border is far from secure and there is no plan to provide security unless there is an agreement for what is currently called immigration reform. Some consider amnesty to be a clear and painful slap in the face to all immigrants that entered the USA following all the rules. Many in the legislature could not care less.

Because there are some Americans that disagree with anything or all that is mentioned by a Conservative group they will oppose even the recommendations related to the safety of current Americans that can come from this type situations.

I really thought that the left was champions of tolerance, acceptance and an open minded attitude towards unity.

however, whenever a conservative lawmaker is mentioned or a news article is shared the animosity and intense negative response from the left leaves me rather uncomfortable.

I admit that there are conservatives that can write harsh comments, however there are many many liberals that lead off with personal attacks inferring that the conservative poster may have a mental deficiency or as one usually put it. " Off your meds" You need rest etc. They find it acceptable to call republican congressmen racist nazis but bristle if someone says Obummer.

Where is the tolerance that you want from the right. Lead by example.

yes ... I did not read the link .... I never open unknown links .... did it once and destroyed my computer .... BUT ... I do know Ted Cruz's position on illegal aliens ... so why should his position on children crossing the border be any different .... Oh by the way .... when will he renounce his Canadian citizenship .... do you think he keeps it to qualify for Canadian national health insurance .... otherwise called Canadian Obamacare

Well I agree on the issues being slightly unrelated. Are we talking all illegals or just the latest issue of the "children"? As far as his Canadian citizenship, I thought he had already had. I'm not sure if it's illegal to run for President with dual citizenship. I thought it was "natural born citizen". Since he was born in Canada that rules him out. Obummer is questionable since we don't know for sure where he was born.

Ted Cruz is a citizen of the US only.

Mr. Cruz is a naturalized citizen not a native born citizen so if you interpret our laws as stating only natural born citizen can run for potus then Mr. Cruz can not legally run for the potus. Although obama got away with it so I guess Cruz could.

Indeed I do. But as the dimicrats defending obama on a daily basis, say "he is evolving". He has been conferring with many people and listened, (something obama is incapable of) and thus embracing the 2nd Amendment much more so since he has been cast into the spotlight. Fortunately for conservatives there are many gun owners on the left, and we do indeed know where that obese joke hillary stands on this issue, don't we?

I may be wrong, but If Cruz was ineligible to run for President, every news outlet would have mentioned it by now.

According to this source, Cruz is eligible.
