Castle in a forest glen

This is a silo sitting in an open field, but shot through a Meade ETX90 telescope with a Nikon D3100. The distance from camera to subject was a little over a mile.

Good Grief.......do you pay any attention to at least 50% of the titles on these forums where the images have nothing to do with the title......... One just below the Castle one says something about "What the Duck" (I think that is it..) I immediately clicked on the link expecting to see (NOT) a duck, and lo and behold there was no duck...

I guess the "What the Duck" was in the Main and the castle was in the "Upcoming" but I think you probably got the message......

NOT YES, HELL YES I pay attention to the title... Half of the postings I pass up because of the titles...(Ex: Moon shots; boring micro bugs and most of all, shots of silos in trees...)

But then again, thats just me........................

I apologize to anyone who feels misled. I thought this was an interesting picture because of the forced perspective from the very long lens that made the subject appear to be nestled in a shady glade when it is really sitting out in the open, and that (to someone with a little imagination) it did resemble a medieval castle.

And in my humble opinion of course, you miss some great images and at times great stories.... I thought that the picture was very interesting... Castle...tall towers...Silo.....tall tower and at ONE MILE distant, not a bad side story either...

But that is ok.... you just go ahead and miss images and maybe stories,,,, but why insult (and yes in my opinion your comment was an insult) the photographer... I bet there are many who enjoyed the picture...

Don't worry about it and you owe no explanation or apology... Just the normal carpings of an old fart who migrated from the great white north to the great brown south........ I liked the photo, for what it is worth..

Put more on.. you may get a critique, but they will generally be of an information type rather than a complaint... and you will very very seldom get critiqued because of your title.

That's quite a reach. If you hadn't said it was a silo, I would have been fooled by your title.
