This dslr magic is all new to me and I'm enjoying the learning process.

She was cresting the rise from her playhouse in route to her party. I was set for aperture priority auto and this is the result (jpg, no PP or crop).

Thank you Geoff. Children can be amazing subjects these days, they have had their photos and videos taken many many times since virtually everyone has a phone or some other photographic device everywhere they go. In my experience, most don't even notice the photographer happily snapping away.
