Hi all,
I'm reposting my first contribution to the correct forum. Thanks for being patient.
This dslr magic is all new to me and I'm enjoying the learning process.
As with any images I post to the hog, I will welcome any comments, critiques, suggestions & opinions et al.

She was cresting the rise from her playhouse in route to her party. I was set for aperture priority auto and this is the result (jpg, no PP or crop).

Brilliant shot Jimmy, I really love the natural capture of the little girl and the DOF absolutely nails it---Great picture,

I can hardly wait until next week when I can see her hold the hard copy herself.
I haven't ordered enlargements this soon after a shoot since the Kodachrome days. -Proud Grandparent.

Thank you Geoff. Children can be amazing subjects these days, they have had their photos and videos taken many many times since virtually everyone has a phone or some other photographic device everywhere they go. In my experience, most don't even notice the photographer happily snapping away.
