It is the only conflict in my life. When someone inquires about a Canon or Cannon, I tell them it's great. Same with Nikon or any other camera. The truth is they are all great. The other truth is the person behind the lens is the most important factor. I just don't care what someone else likes and I hate to cause them to become more confused than they already are.
Those of us that have used the higher end of both systems know the differences are more preferential than any thing else.
Those that praise one system and demean the other are just fan-boys.
^^^ I totally agree with both statements. Now if SharpShooter says anything demeaning, it's because he's an ex-Canon employee (Head of Marketing for the Americas, I think he was), and is now a shill for the Company.
If Canon lost, then I would hate to think how much greater of a sales margin they would have over the 30% they currently enjoy over Nikon, had they won!
What is not accounted for is Olympus, who basically rule the world of innovation of photography. Small sensors, large innovation budgets for great systems.
It's ok, G Bush was never proven to be lawless and a pathological liar as this dictator we have now. :)
For example You apparently have forgotten these two instances. "Mission Accomplished" and "weapons of mass destruction". The latter of which was the song being sung for Mr. Chaney and friends. They probably missed that though. Too busy opening bank accounts over seas to avoid taxes. Lets not argue but agree that if a politician you are a pathological liar regardless of party affiliation. Now that we should be able to agree on wholeheartedly. FWIW I was raised with republican principals. What I've learned is they are no better or worse than the demo's in many ways.
