I thought I'd document our first home-grown tomato of the year before we enjoyed it at lunch. SX50 on tripod with cable release.ISO 80, f/7.1 used throughout. Shutter speeds varied based on cropping and light. I used a single under-cabinet fluorescent light as my only light source. Strips of white reflector foam were used to add some fill light. Auto white balance was set in the camera but I later adjusted it in Lightroom. Comments/questions?
Sincerely,
Lee

Envy both as to the shot and the fresh tomato.

Thanks, Jack, for your kind words. I am enjoying this Canon SX50 so much that I rarely use my Nikon DD80 any more. 8-)

Thanks, It was great! The rest of the tomatoes are still a bit green. 8-( Guess I could always do "fried green tomatoes". I posted a link in the Links Forum to the whole set.

Lee
Nice set. Made my mouth water. Love my SX50 too. I never leave home without it.

Same with me, Lee. The SX-50 can certainly spoil a person, can't it? I'm still waiting for our first home-grown tomato. Hail storm slowed things up this year. Your shots cause me to salivate!
