had 1 done 8 weeks ago Didnt quite go as planned - my range of motion is less than 80 degrees My body decided to develop alot of scar tissue despite extensive physical therapy. I go back to the hospital July 4th - they are going to manually manipulate it- basically bend it it to tear up the scar tissue - Sounds like more fun I am scheduled to have the second knee done as well Joy Joy ! seem like everyone I know that had this procedure done had excellent results. I guess I am just the odd man out !! It sure has put a cramp on my photography time !!

I had both of mine replaced last year. Both times, I went under with unblemished skin over my knee, and, both times, I woke to an incision about 6 - 7 inches long stapled together over my knee. I don't have any desire to see what happened in between...

I had left knee replacement 12/2011. I had 6 days of inpatient rehab and 4 weeks of physical therapy. Great results. Very nice not having knee pain. Now I need the other one done and I keep putting it off. I know a few folks who had problems but not many.

I'm planning to have my right knee done in the fall, after golf season. This was timely because we just discussed the procedure during my knee injections Wednesday. My concern is for infection and the facility and doctor have low rates of infection. Need it done soon. Wish me luck.
