So glad I got this camera in time to get some good pictures of our loving St Bernard - Boomer. We had to have him put to sleep on June 13 because of a nerve issue that had effected his back legs. He will be greatly missed

I am so sorry for your loss! Great photo of Boomer and his friend.
I am so sorry, I've been there too...
Sometimes it is much harder to lose a pet than a person. they always have unconditional love. they accept us as we are. I am very sorry for your loss.My prayers for you.
Been there many times, sometimes think the pain of loss isn't worth it. But I always get another pet or two. They fill the empty spots in life that other people don't fit in.
We pay a high price for our pets. We love them and then they are gone. Fortunately there is something basic about a family dog that reproduces itself every dog you get and you will always see reflections of Boomer in dogs everywhere you go and think back and smile.
You have my sincere sympathy.
It's never easy to say farewell to a loyal friend.
Boomer was a beautiful dog.
Please share my sincere and heart felt sympathy please.

Oh that's so hard...so sad.
You also have my sympathy.
Frank Logan--That's so true! I had a dog that was 1/4 each of black lab, golden lab, doberman, and Irish setter. We had to move from the farm and into the city and couldn't take her with us. (The landlord took her to live with him for us) I had had her since her birth and saved her life when she was born. She returned the favor later on when she was only 3 months old. We had a prowler on our farm who was there to hurt one of us and she warned me and attacked him sending him packing never to return. She was handsomely rewarded afterward too! : ) Long story shortened....after her death years later, my mom got a little miniature long-haired chihuahua and he is so much like her I almost feel sometimes like she was "reincarnated" and came back as him. He's my special buddy too and my protector. So sorry for your loss too! Our pets are so precious...like no other!
Thank you all for your condolences. It helps to work on pictures of him and remember all the joy he has given us. Our other dog in the picture (Cody) is missing him also. He was a rescue dog for us. He only weighed 70lbs and was malnourished when we got him. Was up to 160 later. His last few weeks he lived like a king. Meaning I would had feed him his food both in the morning and at night. Then we would lift up his back legs to help him up and down. Once again thank you all. Helps to talk about him.
My condolences - We just lost our Chi 2 weeks ago. Our pets are so much more than that - our lil' children wrapped up in fur coats. May your heart heal quickly.
