Joshua Weissman, an Alexandria, VA paramedic, died in the line of duty yesterday evening. Paramedic Weissman was responding to an auto fire when he fell from an Interstate highway bridge.

I didn't know him, but I didn't have to. Public Safety people always pull together in times like this.
He is survived by his wife and parents.

So saddened to hear of this and I pray peace in abundance will be laid upon the family. Mobile had a young officer killed by a prisoner during a transfer recently.

I work in Fairfax County, and had the privledge of running a few calls with Josh as our 2 departments have a mutual aide agreement. Real nice guy.
