Just another Old Truck...
Hi Folks, found this cool old truck at a nice clean but modern gas station. I hated the background but there wasn't much I could do...except use some Post Processing to make it less obvious. I went ahead and shot the truck, then on the way home...schemed up this version. Lately I've lost faith in my photography...but this project was fun and made me feel better. Hope you enjoy it.

Nice shot.
We all have 'down' periods, but this is a great shot! I like what you did with it, good color and light, a good job working on the background, and a good eye for an interesting subject.
Keep a-shootin', James. You do good stuff!
Great shot -- thx for sharing.
Thank you Kindly Folks. I found a whole bunch more old tractors at this gas station too. But they have the same problem I had with this shot...backgrounds that are out of place and don't fit the subject. I may attempt something similar with those just to see if it works for them also.
I appreciate the uplifting comments. Yes, we all go through periods when creativity and inspiration wanes. I've been patient, I knew something interesting would come along.

like the way it pops off the screen. had to view the download almost toy like at first look but reflections in glass and chrome brought it back to life. It has an execrate. just kidding because I love your work with the crate.
Mighty nice, James. I watch the auto auctions on TV just about every weekend. You have remedied the distracting backgrounds remarkably well and the sharpness and depth of field is great!

Sometimes if you get really low ( I use a homemade sandbag) it will help eliminate a busy background I think what you've done with the photo is great, and keep shooting from every position and angle, I always enjoy your stuff. I an attaching a sample of low profile.
