Me and Mrs A went To Barrow yesterday to have a look around the shops,Mrs A loves that. There's a shop there that sells second hand goods and I spotted this lens,a second hand Sigma 70mm-300m with a macro option. The lens is in mint condition and after checking it out I bought it for £80.I tested it out when we got back to the caravan and came up with lots of photos of our bird visitors. These are just four of those taken. What do you think, the shots are all from camera and cropped only. :-D

You got a real bargain great shots! I bought the latest offering from Tamron recently, a 16-300mm that extends the technology for a walk-around lens. I did some controlled shoots to compare to my canon kit lens, and sent the tamron back. It lacked in sharpness and low light.

Cheers Jim, I did the conversion on that lens cost and have to say you really got a sweet deal. These captures are fantastic, sharp & colorful. Good job on both the lens purchase & the photos. I managed to capture some bugs this afternoon, post is in the closeup area. Look forward to your critique on them. Again congratulations on that lens and these pictures. :-D :-D
