When we got the car it had been in a barn for 15 years. Someone had put a sunroof, tinted windows and green shag carpet in.
Nice job on getting photos like this. These show how hard it is to restore American muscle.

This was a family project. My husband and two daughters worked evenings and weekends to redo this old Mopar muscle.

Love it.... My husband had one when we were dating years ago. Nothing like those challengers.
Nice picture, nice car, and great that it is a family project. I've seen too many families that don't spend any time together.
Wow. Gorgeous car. Good job
Great job on restoring the car and the pic of it, that brings back memories. I had a 71 challenger se back in 76 and still miss it..

My son has 3 GTO's
The red/silver on the right is his race car that needs some more work under the hood . To many projects in the fire.
The dusty Blue convertible is the original GTO that was used in the Movie "Bullet" with Steve Mc Queen. waiting to be restored.
The 3rd and barely seen is the far left yellow object which has been restored and its another GTO.
We love our Pontiacs.
Sweet restoration on one of my favorite Mopar muscle cars.

I had one identical to yours except mine had a black vinyl top. You bring back fond memories of my citrus yellow 383 Magnum monster.
Where's the R/T letters at the end of the side stripes? :D
American Iron ... (the original)
Henry Ford was an industrial genius
The Muscle Car Era has begun again but 1968- 1973 was
