Photography is wonderful! My opinion is, everyone has to have a camera. You do not have to spend 4-5 thousand dollars on one.

But, you have to have one, even a hundred dollar camera is fine. This is the photographic point to consider. Every time you snap that shutter and make a picture. You stopped a moment in time for that split second. SAVED FOREVER! Cannot be brought back in time past.

Please don't think Professional with your camera. THINK FUN !

Hi, AP here! This is my first photos post in Ugly Hedgehog Forum. I'v read many opinions concerning ones thought towards a photograph and equipment. I have many photos too add and talk about.

I was a freelance SPORTS Photographer for 15 years, 1969-84. Back then, the film camera days. It was not as easy to do as one thought. You had to manually focus the camera lens which separated everyone from another.

If one was a TOP-FLIGHT Sports photographer it was easer to capture a decisive moment. You saw the image quicker than most.

I never thought film would ever be replaced by digital. And digital, seems to becoming better and better. Presently my choice is the 4/3rds format. I use Olympus E5, M1, and Lumix GX-7. A lot lighter than my LEICA R8 or my HASSELBLAD EL.

I just now learned how to Download my photos into Forum. More to come in the future. THANK YOU!

Anthony you hit the nail on the head. You can find pictures everywhere and you do develop what I would call a photographers eye.

Keep shooting.

Thank You, Frank for your fine response. As mentioned, this is my first showing. It's always wonderful to see new photos from anyone. Your thoughts will change, you'll get ideas and different way of making a photo. Always keep looking!

My title: "Photos are everywhere you just have to see them" was chosen for these images. I do no not know if it was used by someone else. I chose it for these photos.

I'm still learning on my MAC 21.5 computer. Between that and my digital cameras. I LOVE IT, NO DARK ROOM . . .

Ugly Hedgehog is tough for me to learn. AP

I like your attitude. I always try to take as good a picture as I can; but I'd rather take a snapshot that really does not blow up my skirt then not take a picture at all. BTW, I like your photos very much.
