Reflection photos I took at the park late last fall (2011).
I went to the park in the afternoon late last fall to get some photo and thought these were kind of neat since they are reflections.
New to the park, an Albino Bison.
Bison at the water pond in their lower area.
All of the park's bison at the water pond on their lower area. Their area goes up on top of a large hill.

Thanks, glad you liked them.
Forgot to ask, Why is it good luck to see a white buffalo?

the Cherokee have always beveled in the buffalo as other animals have Spirits in them and the white buffalo has a good luck thing about them that is you are the first to see it , it will bring you good luck that's what a elder told me a long time ago , so i think it has some thing to do with the Spirit of the white buffalo :)
That is cool, I never knew that about the white buffalo. Thank You for the information. I have now learned something that I didn't know before.

According to park officials, it is considered an albino. I checked on that since I truly wasn't even sure. I know one of the park officials who is still there after 20 years and he confirmed it for me.
I do have more photo with the albino in them though only 2 are reflections.

I know, I was shocked too to learn that it was still considered an albino. It's nice having friends that have different occupations sometimes.
