Very nice shot! Is this right out of the camera? I think you could get away with a little tighter crop.

Like. We have one that swoops through our neighborhood on a regular basis. I think in part because we put out bird feeders and the hawk knows where get some easy pickings. Her eis one I found in St. Paul a while back.

I just went and look at it with the loupe. At 200% I think you can get a great crop. Like he is sitting on your shoulder. Very good focus!!

Nice photo. Might try cropping in closer and lighten up the dark tones. This would give it more impact.
