Hello all, great forum. I was wondering if anyone know where I might be able to obtain the box for a Canon 7D. Whilst on a business trip, my better half decided to "clean" my office and discarded my existing box. Now I am trying to sell it and "everyone" wants the box! My wife now realizes why I was keeping it, but I am having a difficult to get anyone to look on Craig's list. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

Problem is serial number on box won't match your camera. :-/

Why not take the longshot and give Canon a shot. Worst thing they say is NO
Wow! After a month of trying to sell this camera and NO bites on Craigslist, I get home last night and my wife says "look what I found". Instead of throwing it away, she put it in another box labeled "camera box"! She is so organized... Anyway, put on craigslist and it sold within 30 minutes. Unbelieveable...

I always ask the seller if they have a box too. It really does increase resale value.

I believe that it does increase sale value. not sure the logic behind it?
To me, the absence of the box, or other support materials indicate a possible stolen camera.
Sometimes you see a camera by itself, no box, no disc and no charger. Hmmm.
I've seen the big Canon lenses for sale with a lens trunk, but no keys, and no other support material. Why would a guy buy a $6k lens and promptly loose the keys?
Anyway, anything can happen, as well as being stolen.
Just saying. ;-)
