Anyone know how to get to Sony repair?

I messes up cleaning my sensor and need at least professional cleaning or maybe new lp filter, hoping they can replace it instead of sensor.

Good luck!

I have the same lens for my A77 also - I got it as a "kit" lense!! I just wish I could use it on my A99

^^^You can. But you won't get full-frame coverage... not a problem if you shoot in crop mode. ;)

Well, if you don't shoot in crop mode, you'll get an APS-C sixe exposure on your full-frame sensor. A "circle" surrounded by darkness.

Easily corrected for by shooting in crop mode. ;)

My friend has an A99 that I play with from time to time... but I am NOT an expert.

This guy on the other hand, is:

http://friedmanarchives.com/alpha99/index.htm

Gary Friedman is an award winning photographer and rocket scientist who LOVES Minolta and Sony cameras. He also happens to be one of the BEST writers in the business.

If you aren't satisfied with the owners manual that came with the camera, then I STRONGLY suggest you click on the link and check out hi product. His books are EXCELLENT; well written, extremely comprehensive guides to every feature and function of your camera, in plain, easy to understand English.

Any and everything you want to know about your A99 WILL be found in those pages...

BTW, I used the suggested Sony repair. The service was amazing!

Even though I caused the problem they fixed it no questions asked. I sent it one week and it took till Friday to reach them. I had it back the next Friday.

Kudos to Sony!

Please add me to your list. I'm still finding my way around this site (what is a"buddy list"?) and learning how to use my NEX-6. I "think" I will like it a lot some day.
