Welcome to Day 40 .... Something we haven't done yet is Water. Water of any kind. Doesn't have to be a fabulous lake ... or river ... it can be as simple as a water fountain, small creek .. or even a mud puddle LOL.
As you know I couldn't get out and shoot anything yesterday so these are all from the archives mainly from where I go hiking. My plan .. if I can manage is to go to the park locally and do a long exposure on the small waterfall. ... wish me luck !
Here are some not so great examples to get us started.

Early this morning I went down to the river for these. The sun comes up pretty much in the same spot the moon does...both emerge over the tree line on the river.

all caught up...now time to download todays pics and see if anything good came out of it. I have sooooo many river pics and beach pics I want to show you but I think I will restrain myself, not to mention sometimes my filing system has a bit to be desired. Here is one easily accessed. We were anchored up river and heard something loud...my husband knew what it was and told me so I grabbed the camera. I was standing in the water when these guys blew by us. They dont come down this far usually but they were on a practice mission...
ok...time to see what todays pics look like

#3 is scrumptious. Just love the color. I am sick of "brown" tones up here so look for color everywhere - lots of it on UHH :D

I decided I wasn't going to let a little thing like not being able to function slow me down .... So I dragged my butt into a steamy hot shower and I don't know what happened but whatever was pinched doesn't seem to be that way any longer .... Still stiff but not what I would consider real pain.
So I took advantage of the situation and went to the park to shoot the waterfall. I couldn't get the exposure right LOL
So all of these are how they came out of the camera ... it's really weird because if I were trying to do this on purpose it wouldn't have worked out LOL.

#1,2 are really "artsy". I kinda like them - but then, I am a "color nut".
