The fire truck looks like the one we had at the Pike House at the U of Ariz in the '60's. Old memories...

Great examples Rufhar :)... pg 8 I remember being a kid in the great white north and having an outhouse as the only toilet. Kinda rough in the middle of the night in the winter when you just gotta go pee. LOL
That's what noisy metal coffee cans are for.

Havent been outside searching today. Here are a few things I found around my house;
My Grandpa bought the China in #1 for my Grandma when they got married. My grandaughters love to use it when we have tea parties
The second is a quilt that I bought from a friend. It was made by her husband's great aunt....
The third one are the cranks on an old cream separator that I found at a yard sale
When you scroll up and down on the cream separator the gears appear to move,
Pg. 13, Sherri 3d pic. Nice photos.

Must admit MY first thought also was a picture of us old folks in this house. We live in a 200+ y.o. farm house so, here are some "old things that still work"
I love, Love LOVE your old stuff in your old house. Could we possible trade homes for a week? Those all look so FAMILAR!
THANKS for choosing those for the photo's today. This is BEST of all the days of photos...What a great idea. Wish I could still get out with my camera...but I'm nursing a badly twisted knee since the end of September.

So glad you enjoyed them. I enjoy finding ways to use these items because they have such beauty and memories. I have met many Babushkas - here and in Russia and Moldova :)
Twisted knee? Waiting to here the date for my knee replacement.
Thought my latest pictures from Costa Maya, Mexico would fall in todays Challenge.

If you focus on the cream separater and use the side bar to scroll up and down, it looks like the back cogged wheel is turning. At least it does on my monitor. NEAT!!
I saw this same yacht in a photo book from the 1940's. "Marylee" is a NY 40 (not a NY 50) and is 56 feet long. The "40" stands for waterline length; the "50" on the sail means hull #50 in it's class. My photo taken during the 2009 Nantucket Opera House Cup from the back of a NY 32 as Marylee blew pat us.
Here is one I took last summer.

Welcome to Day 39 :) Today I thought we'd look for some Oldies but Goodies. Things that have seen better days but are still serving a purpose. Here are a few examples to get us started.
Sounds like old John Deer
