Today I shot this bird (Sparrow?) about 25-30 feet away using a 600mm setting on my Tamron 150-600mm lens.

Canon 6D - Tamron 150-600mm - 1/200 - f/6.3 - ISO @ 200.

It could possibly be a Juvenile Eurasian Tree Sparrow

I don't know what kind of bird; but the photos are really nice. I like the way you handle selective focus. Birds are always nice and sharp while the backgrounds are creamy and very pleasing. Well done.

Thank you, Bmac. I think it is a sparrow. But not sure of the species. Anyhow, it's making a home in our backyard birdhouse.

Thank you very much, ebrunner. This lens does a nice job with the fuzzy background.

Very nice shot Regis. The House Sparrow is one of the most widely spread introduced species of bird in the U.S. Who knows how many native species this rascal and the Starling have pushed to the brink, but they are handsome.

Thanm you, WyoWillys. This House Sparrow is making a home in our backyard bird house. This is the first time a bird will live in our birdhouse, so I will get some future shots of this bird.

It looks like a common house sparrow. Do what ever you need to do to get rid of it. It will take over another birds house and kill the babies if there are any. I have experienced this first hand. The male will bond with the house not with its mate. Get rid of the male and it will solve the problem. These came from England and have taken over.
