Tired of waking up feeling like I've been beaten all night. Any suggestions? Have always had innerspring but am curious about the memory foam also.

My parent's got one of those memory foam type mattresses awhile back. They looked at the tempurpedic, but they were all high priced. They went with a brand that is made by one of our local furniture companies here in Oklahoma and love it.(It's the called the egocomfort bed made by Lady Americana.) They wouldn't trade it for anything at this point. I would suggest trying one out at a store and see how you like different mattrasses. (When my parents were looking The Mattress Firm near us offered to let them come in and take naps on the different mattresses.)

We have a Sleep Number, we love it. My wife and I like different feels and it accomodates both of us to perfection.

Sleep Number. Yes they can be pricey but worth it. We've been sleeping on ours for almost 4 yrs. I sleep anywhere from 35-45 & my husband is a 55-65.

If you are on a budget consider a matress topper. We tried a 4" with the memory foam and love it. Check out Overstock.com.

You might need an overnight job to pay for it, but at least you'll sleep good.

my husband and I are right there with you Larry. Think I'll keep a tally on the tempurpedic vs. sleep number.

we found a tempurpedic ergomatic on sale when an Art Van bought out a local store. It was horribly expensive and worth every penny. We are retired and feel we deserve the best in our old age. Sleep number or Tempurpedic is going to be like discussing Nikon or Canon.

I gave up sleeping on a bed after I fell asleep one night in a recliner at my folks place and woke up feeling more refreshed than I had been for MANY years!!! Haven't slept on a bed since!! (20+ yrs now!)
