I use a droplet machine(homemade), food coloring, tripod, metz 52af-1 flash. The flash is set to 1/32 or 1/64 to freeze the image. Shutterspeed at 1/8 of a second. Remember it is the flash that freezes the image, not the shutterspeed. :)
