OLD Minolta SLR and Nikon D90 Lenses

I have an old Minolta SR-T-101 with 5 lenses. I also have a Nikon D90. Is there an adapter I can purchase to be able to use the Minolta lenses on my Nikon. I can't bear to part with the Minolta although I never use it anymore. It gave me years of great photos. I also heard there was an adapter that I could get that would allow me to use two lenses attached to each other for a wider range of uses. Currently - I just hold them in place but, as you know, even slight motion reduces the sharpness. Thank you :)

Don't know if there is an adapter, but if there is, it has to have a glass element in order to be able to focus the lenses to infinity ( which will degrade image quality). This is due to register differences between the systems. Add to that the fact that the aperture won't be held open (stop down shooting as in pre set lenses) & no metering (AFAIK) , makes it not worth it. I'd suggest just shooting some film now & then if you want to use the older Minolta lenses ( I do with my older Minolta gear)...As for using two lenses attached to each other, is this for shooting macro?...That can be done...

Search B&H, they have many adaptors. It seems there are adaptors for any combination.

Im sure that there is one to fit your nikon, i saw one to fit canon fd lenses to the eos system was 30 bucks so what the heck might lie to try it could be better than some have heard.

Screamin Scott - thanks for the info. With so much out there - I knew one of you would know what I was talking about and be able to advise me. Thanks again :)
