I'm definitely not Aryan if that's what you are trying to say. As you probably know, we have been virtually, continuously at war since 1940... it's kind of curious that your example of a "good" war is over 70 years ago! It's funny you have to invoke the ghost of Hitler or the "sadistic" Hirohito to make war virtuous.

Why don't you tell me about the great good that the Korean War, Vietnam Conflict, our two wars against Iraq and 10 frickin years in Afghanistan were for keeping our citizens free? How are all these little brown people taking away our freedom? .. War is great until someone close to you dies... I guess that's the freedom you're talking about.

Sigh, my worse suspicions confirmed. You truly can't grasp the differences between north and south Korea, you're ignorant of the aftermath of Vietnam and you fail to comprehend the genesis of 9/11? Oh my, you ARE the product of public education..... I wished I had the time, patience or interest to attempt compensation for the clearly remedial nature of the limited time you had in school. (damned those public school teachers). I admire your passion, but you ready MUST experience using the left hemisphere of your brain some time, it'll blow your mind! Logic's like that. We can, however agree war is a horrible waste of life, but freedom has never been free - never has, never will. I wish you well, young lady. Try considering the above with a TRUELY open mind, it's liberating. =)

for an old fart, you can sure dance well...
so you did not answer my question..tell me of the great good, and no BS how Vietnam made anybody freer, except getting our soldiers addicted to better weed and heroin. I will grant you that WWII was a war to preserve our way of life... You cannot make that comment about any of our recent wars... ones that happened after you retired.

Every year the French have a 4 day celebration in Normandy complete with American uniforms, tanks, jeeps and guns. They still honor the Americans who died there?.

June 6, 2013, the 69th anniversary of "D-Day", the largest invasion ever attempted, where 200,000 Americans stormed the beaches at Normandy to begin the final push to defeat Nazi Germany in WWII. D-Day marked the turning point in WWII in Europe ... Today, European heads of state make it a point to recall and honor the sacrifices of those who landed in Normandy , as do our Presidents.... well, most of them....

In the 69 years since D-Day, there are four occasions when the President of the United States chose not to visit the D-Day Monument that honors the soldiers killed during the Invasion.

The occasions were:

1. Barack Obama, 2010
2. Barack Obama, 2011
3. Barack Obama, 2012
4. Barack Obama, 2013

For the past 69 years, every American President except Obama have taken the time to honor the memory and sacrifices of the 6,000 American soldiers killed on D-Day. ...Except Obama!

June 6 2010,
Obama had no events scheduled.

June 6, 2011,
Obama met with the National Security team and was interviewed by WEWS Cleveland and WDIV in Detroit about the auto industry - FAR too busy to visit the D-Day memorial.

June 6, 2012,
instead of honoring our fallen soldiers, Obama made a campaign trip to California on Air Force 1 (at our expense) to raise funds for (his) upcoming election.

June 6, 2013,
Obama was doing ANOTHER fund raiser with the multimillionaires in the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in Palo Alto , CA , once again at our expense.

America - Aren't you proud?

Four times in 69 years!!

SHAME ON AMERICA FOR ELECTING A NON-VETERAN PRESIDENT WHO DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE THE COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF: HE IS ABSOLUTELY A DISGRACE TO ALL WHO FOUGHT FOR THIS NATION AND GAVE THEIR LIVES.

VETERANS - PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO YOUR VETERAN FRIENDS AND

I'm already getting 4 welfare checks & 2 disability checks, plus I have 18 illegal aliens that give me 1/3 their food stamps in exchange for "protection".

I would love a 6-figure salary from his Omnipotence, Obama Forever!

Wow, that's all you have?! Seriously, nothing even remotely replicating original thought??! HaHaHa! =D Quick, another selfie! Surely you're capable of one even more revelatory of the narcissism predominant in your life? Come on, virtually all of us know, "conclusively" you have scores, if not hundreds of them..... Lol! But please post another valiant effort at grown up discussion, it's hilarious. No, really it is. Please, please, the worst that can happen is merely more public humiliation, a state of being you must be familiar with. Gotta take off for work now, I'll cheerfully dismantle you thoroughly upon my return. ta ta. =* ;)

To defend peace. It's so obvious and necessary that it makes it appear that you have your head up and locked, which is what Sarge is pointing out about our fearless socialist "leader". You wouldn't be able to make your free comments if so many millions of us had not gone to war to save our democracy, and that of others.

Of course, you aren't learned enough to have read Thomas Jefferson's relative quote.

Well, at least we know that our Democratic Republic cannot count on you, or him, to preserve our freedoms.

tede45, it's great to hear you joined wounded warriors, you're doing good to help where something CAN be done. Thanks for raising thousands for the organization, we need more like you, not these people who are just sitting around yapping and nothing getting done. To them I say DO SOMETHING, not just yap your jaws, it's kinda boring to be honest........

I decided that our current Vets should never be treated the way we were when we came back from Viet Nam. As I recall the people at the airport were all liberal flower children spitting on us and calling us "baby killers". They were clowns then and still are.

Have you listened to the latest on Carl Rove. Just another guy stepping on his dick. Real Republicans get backed into tenuous positions by tea partyers and wind up compromising what they actually believe. I feel this was a big deal in the last election.

The interesting thing about the Tea Party is that they are not professional politicians. They are not even a formal political party. Just a bunch of regular Americans, like you and me, trying to do the best they can to recover a "Government for the people, by the people." Yet, you swallow the liberal crap and demonize them. You libs are so proud of your so-called ability to think that you leave no room for independent thought. You just go with the crowd.
