I think there's a lot of this going around in Gun country.

A .45 calibre round makes a pretty big hole; I can just imagine how the conversation went:

"Hey honey...
Check out my new .45, it has a really great trigger pull"
Nice squeeze.............. Bang!!!!!!.............
Oh Shoot.............

"Honey.............. I need another Budweiser
Damn that hurts............."

"Just off to Wal-Mart for some new shoes...

And a book called... Handguns for Dummies!"

The people of America have no idea how many gun accidents there are each year from "responsible gun owners." Most especially gun owners want to stay stupid about it. That's why there's so many injuries and deaths from guns.

I know, I'm off-topic but just read something else about a gun injury from an 11 yr. old shooting his grandmother while she read his report card.

Thanks Bunko for putting up with me. :)

Look forward to you comments.
Seems admin must have edited two pics off. They showed the damage with boot removed. Went between toe 1 & 2. A bit gruesome but not too bad.

I'm sorry I got off in another direction but it was something I'd read before seeing your post here. I really don't think people are aware of how many accidents there really are with children grabbing guns lying around. I join pages that are totally against these accidents and can see it everyday. There has to be some control over guns.

Yes there should it's called responsibility, children are taught all about sex as first graders but not about firearms other than don't make a gun from your snack cookie.

There are less accidental shootings per capita than there were in the 1950's.What we are seeing is more reporting of these stupid activities.
In the last 6 months,I have been forced to take defensive measures while driving numerous times by oncoming texting motorists. However, while belonging to two gun clubs, nobody has endangered me with firearms.

Rule of gun handling 'There is no such thing as an unloaded gun until you have personally checked it.' Next rule, 'Keep your finger off the trigger unless actually firing.' and 'Never point a gun at anything you aren't willing/planning to shoot.' (I think that would include your own foot!?!?

Not only responsibility, but just a little common sense as well, something liberals lack.

All gun owners say they are responsible and keep the guns under lock and key. I wonder how crooks steal all those guns under lock and key.

You've talked to all gun owners? Not. Mine are locked in a 400 pound safe, and they can still be stolen. I don't mean to confuse you with facts so I'll just stop.

How are they able to be stolen?

I should have said all I've spoken too. BTW, I know that some lie about it.
