We made it all the way to La Paz, a little over 2000 miles, lots of fun along the way. After a day of settling, we headed back north to set up a photo shoot station of the Mexican 1000 Day 3 2nd Special section and there I began my own history making! It took me about 10 cars passing to get the gist of what the heck I was attempting to do, but I think you'll agree I FOUND IT! These give me goose bumps and I'm very proud of my progression. Thanks to all you on the general forum for helping me out with valuable tips and tricks of the trade. This session was 4 hours in the high heat of the day, with camera and shooter well protected. Enjoy and feel free to critique.
The shot of the day... cropped the tail, but wow, what air time on all 4 tires!
Top of the hill - I tried to zoom out at 300m on all then backed it off... this was around 225 to catch the landscape
The bottom of the hill held all the excitement.. going in and coming out....
and coming out
hubby making sure his camera phone got some action...he is next in line for a big boy toy!
It looks like you had a great time. Made some nice pictures at any rate.
Looking good. I like the 4th one the best. 1st one is also great.
