That title could elicit another pet peeve on its own. But that is not for this time.
This time, #9 in my pet peeve list - the old oft debated - take time to read your post, spell check auto and manually, and grammar check before submitting.
Many a good post is rendered questionable via bad spelling and/or poor grammar.
Many are going to say it doesn't matter. Is that because you can't get it right yourself? Lots of lawyers making big bucks in USA over just these issues.
Some people, English second language people may not be able to get the proficiency others can. Those people are quite easily identified by the general tone and composition of their posts and I would and do cut them some slack.
The rest of you and me - we can do better, we should do better, and we must do better. Or the English language may soon lose all it's vowels.

"The rest of you and me...." this should be "The rest of us...."
Just wondering....Shouldn't the last sentence which begins with "or" be part of the previous sentence? The previous sentence should end with a comma followed by the "or" of the last sentence. Same thing with the second sentence. The first sentence should end with a comma followed by "but."

So easy to do when typing. You think it should be there to show possession, but not in the case of "it."
Truth....Don't feel bad. Another infamous poster started another thread quite awhile ago but was much more assertive about it. He made spelling and grammatical mistakes not only in his original post but in his replies.

......or the capitalized 'T' in the word truth or  a question mark after a question.

http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-41940-1.htmlWe just proved a point. We do know our grammar.
Truth....We'll accept your OP as a rough draft. Would you like to try a rewrite?

The capital T was a deliberate play on the OP's name - hence the smiley face.
I didn't ask a question!
