Guess this a "matter of opinion". Mine is - "motorcycles don't belong in the spare bedroom". His is - "Yes, they do. Condensation from the cold barn will ruin it". So
. Hard to disagree and even more difficult to get a decent picture in the surroundings, but - here they are. It is a beautiful "bike". So, bikers, enjoy and this is an example of what my husband does.

He restored it. That's what he does. Rarely sells them as he ends up liking them so much. Says they are our "investments" :)
[quote=laskalass]lol....I agree Pat, my Mom once had a fit when my Dad brought a greasy part of a car engine in the house to work on at the kitchen table.
Done that too!
Hope these fit in here.

Page 29 ... White Sands New Mexico ... My brother and I toured many national parks in the southwest and before we arrived at White Sands it was the place I had the least interest in and of which I had the lowest expectations of great photo ops ... After we left, it ranked right up there with the Grand Canyon and absolutely shamed the Carlsbad Caverns (very difficult to photograph). Of course, as usual, being there for sunset made all the difference.... The White Sands are made of material all around you as you read this.... wallboard, plasterboard, gypsumboard.... the white stuff behind the paper and paint in your walls.... White Sands is the only place on earth where gypsum is found on the surface rather than below ground....
sunset seems early because of the mountains to the west....
a couple of hours before sunset
Yucca out of season.... no flowers
sunset almost finished

Yeah that is one neat place. I tripped out when I saw snow plows opening the roads from the sand drifts! Then all those people on Crazy Carpets...
Regarding your last sentence, I see that you took the tour also, and that is maybe where your sunset shot came from too.
