They do have a pretty flower.
Thank you Pat. Katie is the youngest of my Granddaughters and the only one married. I never thought it worked that way.

Inight - still like Dandy Lions - Did you use to pick them for your Mother? I always picked a bouquet of them for my Mom when ever I could.
What wonderful celebrations you share with us! The kids are adorable!!!

Hi all,
Since today's my birthday, I thought our next challenge could be "Celebration". Each of you probably has a host of celebratory photos for all sorts of life events. Choose your favourites and let us all share the results. Post your pictures and tell us what they celebrate - I'm looking forward to lots of wonderful stuff. Here's a few of mine to begin.
Celebrations....I am enjoying seeing everyone's joyful submissions!
The last photo the baptism of my daughter...was taken off of the TV set as I played the VHS that we recorded her baptism on at 4 weeks old ...in the Russian Orthodox Church a baby is naked and fully submerged 3 x and then they immediately take communion since it is intincture (wine and bread mixed) and given with a tiny gold spoon...so babies are given a tiny amount of wine from 4-6 weeks old...
The Blessing of the bikes today!!

I love it when you share these parts of your faith, culture and customs, Laska. In another month, our church will put on a "Biker Breakfast" - on a weekend when many are travelling to the motorcycle weekend in Louden, NH. The breakfast inclused a "Blessing of the Bikes" too.
