I took this photo today of a Bee in good detail with the Tamron 150-600mm @ 600mm. The distance was about 8-10 feet. Again, all my shots are hand-held.
I can see the pollen on his fuzzy body and for the first time I was able to see the "bee's knees". I had no idea what that meant so looked it up and evidently is a slang for dandy or hot stuff! So seems pretty apropos to me!
