I don't even need to see the color version. This rendition must certainly be the best. I love the wonderful shadows. John O.

Looks like you HDR'd this pic too.....did you?
Could we see original?
Bottom of the big tree blends in with background and screws up things for me!

Maybe this is a HDR, I think if we shot this house in daily and B&W, no need HDR. original in B&W is better :-)

It would be better shot on a cloudy day or maybe different time of the day. There are way to many shadows some of the shadows could possibly crop some of the shadows out
There is something odd with the big tree on the right it seams bigger below the roof than above by a lot.
I might try it with less contrast and from further back not with a wider lens.
The best bit is you did it and put it up for people to look at. keep enjoying doing the work and remember
Free advice is some times priceless and at other times worth what you paid for it.

When I click on (download), it wants to download the photo to my computer instead of opening a larger version of the picture. Is that because it is a .tiff file instead of a .jpg?

Are you kidding? The shadows are what makes this picture the wonderful image it is. John O.

Every one to their own opinion I am not trying to discourage you from your opinion just stating mine.
