No, but when I do chose one camera that is the lens I put on it.

When I want to use my best, Nikon D800 with 28-300 VR. When I want to go light, Sony NEX5N with 18-55.

I too have a D7100 and I absolutely love my Nikon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED-IF AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor for general purpose outdoor shooting with ample light.
For indoors, or where lower light conditions apply, I prefer my Nikkor 18-70mm.

On my D5100 I use de 18-200mm Zoom as my walk-around lens and th 35mm for street photography. On the D600 I use the 24-120 mm zoom. For macro photography I prefer the 105mm MicroNIKKOR ... sharper lens was never made. Best of luck and happy shooting !

General purpose (including social events) and street photography:
Canon T4i with the new Sigma 17-70mm lens, including the Speedlite 320EX.
Landscape and air show photography:
(1) Canon 6D with the new Sigma 24-105mm lens.
(2) Canon 6D with the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM Lens
Each of these I put in a sling bag containing needed accessories.
