Wow. Terrific shots. How would different viscosity stuff come out? Whole milk, motor oil...

Obviously you're not from the right era Sensorloupe. Ah!! the psychedelic era.
Fantastic images by the way!!
Exactly. In the past if someone said you saw Mushrooms and Sea Horses they would assume some one was "tripping". LOL
BTW: I see those shapes as well...Disclaimer: No Acid was "dropped" during this exercise!
Great shots Rick! Looks like you're really getting the hang of this photographic art form.
Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just recently got into photographing liquids, ironically about the same time as I joined this forum as a matter of fact. I'm still very new to this style, so have much yet to learn. These are my first attempts with Milk. Different viscosity then Water (+Guar Gum), I did not get the exact shots I was after.
Great stuff...nice work....
Wow, these are wonderfully done!!! The black background really makes the formations and colours stand out. :D
One of the photos reminds me of a sea horse.
Thanks everyone for the kind compliments!
Very nice , I think I need a bit more practice before posting any of mine. Seems like lighting Iis the secret.

I would say the most important aspects are
1) Flash Duration
2) Timing
3) Flash Placement
Very well done. What "time machine" do you use?

The new Splash Art Ultra (3) system reservoir...I have a hard time master one at a time so have not even tried all three at the same time!
I'm not sure what you were visualizing in your mind, but you've presented some fascinating, colorful examples. What a creative, fun experiment. Cannot pick a favorite...perhaps the lady-in-the-hat, or the umbrella, or the seahorse. colors are brilliant.
Wow, you've got a couple of mushrooms, an umbrella, and the last one looks like a sea dragon.
