Portrait shooting of an old friend.

Through the years, have come to know this guy a bit and he has become one of my very favorite mule deer. He is not impressive horn wise, but he has a tank for a body and his attitude keeps all other bucks, not matter their size away from him.

That is a beautiful photo of a majestic looking mule deer. You did a great job bring out his handsome qualities. I would love to meet him too, maybe in November.

Really nice series.
I was raised on Southern Illinois where we have white tails.
We had an old Monarch of the woods as well.
Your pictures bring back some great memories.
A great buck like that one has passed on some really great genes for generations to come.
