Shot the belted kingfisher Friday with wind blowing so hard, I couldn't stand still. He/she did much better than I :)
The others were taken today. Eagle baby doesn't look any larger than last week; maybe they lost one and this is different? Dad brought more nesting material a couple of times while I was there.
Canon SX50, most in burst mode, edits in PSE 12, including much cropping!
None are very good quality, just wanted to keep you updated on the local raptors - and my favorite little fisher bird :) Thanks for looking.

It's nice to see the eagle family has been productive and the ospreys will soon have chicks of their own. Nice series Linda. I always enjoy seeing your shots.

Good ones, Linda.
Enjoyed the series! The eagle chick is adorable with the majesty of the parent giving a good contrast in the background. Love that one!
Congrats on the great bird shots! Love the baby Eaglet and the Kingfisher.
Thank you all so much for taking the time to view and for your kind words. I appreciate it!

all of them are wonderful like being there myself.
Superb set Linda I enjoyed them.
I have a hard time capturing belted kingfishers unless they are still. Those guys are fast! Great shot!
Great pics! I'm impressed with the sx50 and the quality of the images after cropping.
