The horizon on the first picture needs to be straightened.
The photo of the pier needs a frame. Nice job!
Pebbles said exactly what I was going to write. Even after you straighten the first image, it isn't half as interesting as the second. Nice job.
Thanks OriginalCyn, I'm in a learning curve when I was shooting these I was focused more on learning how to use the manual mode, and getting shots that weren't over/under exposed. Any tips that can be given I will willing accept as I have been doing this only a few weeks.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I just got home from my first photography class at the University. I realize I have a long way to go to be able to shot the pics I want but I have made my first few steps.
