I especially find 1,2,3 and the last one with the colorful flags appealing.

I try not to inundate UHH with baby pictures, but Caroline Grace is the subject of many pictures each day as I am keeping her from 7:30a.m. - 5:30p.m. each day. This is straight from the camera shot with my 35mm Nikkor Lens, with direct sunlight shining through our Greatroom.

Peanut...you get to ride all the time! We have such a short riding season here...when my husband can from about April to September he on his bike....but thats so short a time. :-)

True....i guess we all have pros and cons about where we live. i live in a wonderful historic town but miss the country. However i don't miss shoveling or the freezing cold!

These are cool all of them! It still seems weird to me that other places in the world have sunshine that actually emits heat, and people live in deserts, and places with no snow at all with flowers and insects and birds of all kinds....sometimes I feel so isolated here in the far Northland...and green grass, and flowers seem so far away...cabin fever! Anyway, I like this challenge this time it will really be a challenge to me to try to get a good photo straight from the camera. Yay!! Have a good day everyone I'll be on later with my pics!

And i look at your snow pictures and pine for being away from it all lol

February 1st. Welcome to a new month y'all. Everybody did a wonderful job experimenting with new concepts last month ... How about this month if we start off putting them into practice..... Doesn't matter what you photograph today ... the real challenge (especially for me) is going to be No Post Processing. Straight out of the Camera. (with the exception of resizing) Let's see if we really learned anything lasting.

Nice! Are you in Joshua Tree? I've lived in Lucerne Valley, Yucca Valley, and Palm Springs.

Ok..here they are..straight from camera. So sad. The first is early in morn right before work. The second is after work..my looking up shot that i never did. It is Flagler Memorial Presbyterian Church built by Henry Flagler in one year in memory to his daughter who died during childbirth. Just needs a nice blue sky hint hint and the third was taken through my car window as i was stopped in traffic...the spike and flower grabbed me.
