My 2 cents.
Even God put clothes on Adam and Eve.
There are plenty of websites out there that thrive on that kind of stuff, I'd prefer you take it there.
God didn't put clothes on Adam and Eve, Adam and Eve put clothes on themselves because they were ashamed. God delivers each and every one of us stark naked!
Yeah, and we look a whole lot better then than we do when he takes us back!
[quote=lindysuewho]I'm reading some of these responses and can't believe the posts are by adults. Boudoir is not porn and personally I think it would be fine to post photos and questions here. If you don't want to look then by all means don't click on the subject matter.
You are absolutely right. Absolutely no need for all this hash and re-hash going on about the subject.
Well, you know they (whoever "they" are) say we arrive toothless, hairless and helpless, and generally check out in the same state.
Think about this aspect. The images you would like to post need critiques that you could not get here. You need Photogs that shoot this medium that you can learn from because lighting, posing, and the image framing are in a different atmosphere. Not a thing wrong in shooting 'Fine Art' images if that is your category. Good Luck

"those" images you are talking about normally have some of the best studio lighting or natuaral lighting I have seen. Some of the best editing (skin and liquifiy) and over all pleasing posing.
I follow a couple of professional photographers who shoot souly this medium and they have taught me so much about using light and how to position my subject to bring out the best in them. Not saying it's everyone's cup of tea, but I fail to understand the backlash on this medium? It's not huslter or soft porn.
As a photographer that has shot a lot of the human body. Very successfully, I might add. and Have always stopped at the point I consider Porn instead of Art. I would like to add my 2 cents. There is nothing wrong with that kind of art form, I just think that a site that is in the nature of General public is indeed a welcome place. I have had a very hard time locating such a site as this. for what it is worth, please keep this site "General Public"
May God Bless :-)

I don't know "Who" they are either, but I could sure tell them that there is absolutely nothing helpless about a new born baby. From the time you bring them home until the time they can wait on themselves, they order you about constantly, crying for this, crying for that. And you had better be darn quick about it too.

No, that's about US being helpless.
Well maybe you, I came prefixes with tie and tails!!!!
On a more serious note, I would suspect this discussion could be used to draw the line between photographers and 'just photographers'. If there is such a thing. Being an seasoned adult, not that my wife would say that, I def feel that I am in a position to determine what is and isn't art.
So then I ask myself can others really do this to. I would think the fear here, if not based in some sudo-religious fanatic base, is that others concept of art does not have acceptable boundries. Or being art, are there boundries. I think of Madonna who during her artistic years could throw whatever crap she thought was art down our and our childrens throats. Now that she has kids, she considers in inappropriate. Very interesting.
This is a great discussion, thanks for all who share their views. It is very healthy.
I would suggest posting whatever you want in Boudoir. Keeping in mind the difference between porn and Boudoir, and naming the thread Boudoir so those grown-ups who choose to not see get a heads up should make it acceptable. I find this being a useless waste of time to debate this. There shouldn't even be a debate. I'm sure someone here is the moderator. That person can easily remove the shots should they be beyond the scope of "boudoir". For everyone who objects... grow up. This is a photography website not a a religious values site.
"I find this being a useless waste of time to debate this"
But then we find you contributed anyway.
You can post anything on "photosig.com" and have your work critiqued by other professionals. Could be a good learning tool. You do have to pay to post and critique. No charge for just looking.
Just a thought about the comments.
I think that a thread that say "Boudoir" might be interesting. That way anyone that want to follow the thread can, and the ones that may find it not apropriate can just not join the thred.
Just my humble opinion.
Not a Relegious fanatic, but do wish the best for everyone.
May God Bless
