It may have gotten tired of having a lens in it face already. So here is a little challenge for you Chiya and I will blame Heirloom Tomato if it backfires. Recently I was given the task of trying to find interesting things to photograph on our property.

I'm not entirely sure if it was succesful but if I can post a picture of horse poop and get any kind of comment other than a negative one, you should have no problems finding something of interest with your Canon

ok I will give it try tomorrow and report back with results.

I was wondering when you were going to run out of steam.

You are too too too funny, talk about "ask and ye shall receive", and someone knits too. Thank you for sharing pieces of your world, I like your camera and what you have done with it.

Yet... Take care, it's time to do what these folks actually pay me for and then I'm off for three days.

60 hours this week, I'm tired too. Maybe a frog by Thursday? Not to worry, take pictures of things you find interesting and I will watch.

P.S. I'm knitting socks for my wife, may have them done by Christmas. I'm using a sock loom that is an enormous rectal ache but I need practice for when we get our alpaca fiber processed. Hopefully by the time we get the fiber processing mill in I will be good enough to sell hand-knitted alpaca socks for an obscene amount of money. That's my goal anyway.

Boy is he ever and with the grandkids here this weekend he did his usual disappearing act, I think it has something to do with his past, He was a rescue and even though the kids have never mistreated him, he doesn't like company

We rescued a Pomeranian that has issues like that. Drop something on the floor and he freaks out. He didn't deserve the treatment he received but he has a good home now. Good night all.

well don't want to discourage you but in my experience people don't like to pay what the handmade stuff is worth when they can "get it at walmart for less" And I am still on the old fashioned 2 knitting needles type of knitting

Hey - thanks for sharing your experience. Your fears are mine. Time comes, your solution seems a great way to do it.

I believe in the 90-10 rule.
9o% of the people are honest and 10% dishonest. The problem is that we always hear about the dishonest ones. Seldom are acts of honesty reported.

Thanks for posting.

And one depth of field light bulb switches on. ;-)

Before you think that's all there is to DoF, you should also try different distances and focal lengths.

yeah that is next on the list, the dreaded focal length, unfortunately had to get a wisdom tooth pulled today so just not up to much, and scared myself half to death when picked up my new camera and it wouldn't turn on, until I remembered I had taken the memory card out to transfer some pics to the computer, lol so for the rest of day just quiet reading is on the menu.

It's ok I am just a little cranky right now am trying to wrap my peanut brain around focal length and think I need to give it a rest for tonight, cause it just isnt making any sense to me right now, I did a search on here and found several threads dealing with it, but just can't seem to get it right now.
