Well, I don't know that I've picked a specific category but hope I'm picking up a few pointers from all of you.
I personally like these photos but please feel free to critique them.
My favorite is the second one...very appealing to the eye! If all of y'all keep posting those beautiful snow pictures you are going to force me to take a vacation somewhere cold!! I really want to take some snow pictures too!!

lucky you Frankie....built in model....sweet.
You got that right....and she loves it!
Rivernan, I know what you mean about housework not getting done....I have got to stay off UHH & get some work done. And I am glad that bakery is not close to me...that stuff looks too good ;-)
What have I learned?
I have learned I can spend all day on UHH, but "the maid" hasn't shown up in months; neither has the "dinner chef", so
can't be here as much as I'd really like :(
I have learned, or re-affirmed that I really do love Photography and I dispelled my belief that it takes hours for a "photo shoot". Now, my camera is ALWAYS my constant, ready companion and I can shoot a lot in 10 minutes.
Lines, an old cemetery , snow and a big tree can be beautifully different
Playing with color can turn into art - snow/ice crystals on my windshield
Saran Wrap! A rainy windshield can be "pseudo cling wrap"
Rust is beautiful; see the snow crystals?
Big machines have become objects of fascination and art
Day 31...
Here is my black and white, with my not so good attempt at making it look like it is actually smoking. This was taken in the dark with a flashlight and string. i think I need to shorten the exposer time a little
Santa's xmas campfire
Since I missed the 1st day, today I decided to shoot some rust items around our property.
omg I love daisy...so sweet.
ken you is smoken.............
mtn...hard to believe that rust can be so pretty.
Im so obsessed. I must walk away..now...now....now....
Here are some long exposure photos.... I obviously didn't take them today. I want to go out and take some, but we'll see what else will happen through out the day :)
This is my friend Ian spinning fire. Maybe next time I will take a longer exposure but I like that you can see his face in these.
Well now you have me hooked on a new topic! We took the dogs to the park this morning with just the 'pocket Panasonic' here are the results.

I know not everyone likes squirrels but I love all creatures great and small! So this is beauty where I live as he was eating lunch on my oak tree when we got home.
'Sterling' was sleeping on the bed, until I woke him up! so his face fills the frame.
Not really sure if this is lines or architecture but it was inside the roof of a gazebo
Not too artistic but a stack of gates made lots of lines.
This is a color version of the IR I sent previously at our lovely park, the gazebo is another picture.
Waiting in the car while husband spent forever in a store I glanced in the side mirror and this was the result.
I must admit to an archive but I have always liked this rusty old car.
Last one - a sign reflected in the river.

Your images just made me smile. #2 Made me laugh and #3 - just love the lines and natural tones.
So darn cute! I want a squirrel in a bucket.

My husband would gladly hand you TWO squirrels in a bucket - but, they wouldn't be this cute or perky
..
Took a ride locally. This barn has always intrigued me....
Would love to take a walk inside..

Hey Pat...that cemetery is cool ('scuse the pun). For some reason, many cemeteries are food for the camera.
And the chain...like it.
Saran instead of plastic, not bad at all. Have you ever tried a piece of clear glass with Vaseline?
Here you go Nan no pp or special effects .. just for you :) These have only been resized smaller.
Of course I'm totally unsatisfied with my outing so I have to go back for a walk or something lol.
