Since I am new at this hopefully I have my 1st picture uploaded. I took it with a Canon SX50HS. My main camera is a 7D.
Welcome to the forum. Your picture came through and is very nice. Look forward to seeing many more.

Nice and clear. Welcome to UHH, be careful, it can be addicting. :-)
Thanks John
I decided I wanted to get more involved since I have been seeing a few pictures to my liking that I share interest in. One is pictures old barns and another is of old tractors that was posted on here just recently. I find this site very informative and check it out almost daily.

Just a quick tip. When you respond to a specific comment, hit the 'quote reply' button. It will link your reply directly to the quote you are responding to just as this reply directly cites your quote above it. It took me several months and a lot of help to figure out all the whistles and bells on UHH. :D

Urrr so rite! ! ! ! I found "pictures" tell more than 500 words. . .
1944 I was introduced to "hand setting type characters" into a metal composing stick - then placing them into an iron frame that went onto a print press. The text setting instruction book didn't do much for me. However a compositor "showed" me what the book was talking about. Later, 1995, when I designed a computer "Volleyball" score keeping program . . . I was flooded by eMails with questions.
A program named "SnagIt" came to my rescue. Snag a picture of the form to be filled in. Take that .jpg picture and modify with Snagit program... i.e. word clouds, arrows, colors, etc. . . .
Six or seven pictures + notes . . . to 864 players . . .
NO MORE eMails . . . asking questions.

Thanks, I like shooting nature in general. I also like to photograph antique farm tractors since I am an old farm boy who has been transplanted to the city. As they say, "you can take the boy out of the country but you can't take the country out of the boy." I also like to shoot old barns, and the stories they could tell.
Welcome to the forum. Lots of great pics thruout!!
