Woke up this morning to a another winter wonderland. It's starting to wear on us up here. Taken with Canon SX50 HS. Shot in RAW. Processed in Elements 12.

3 more years & we're going South for the winters. I love the snow until Christmas.

Oh, I feel your pain!! Our snow banks aren't quite as high as yours, but they sure are taking their time shrinking!!! Maybe the 40-50 degree days this weekend will help!!

Someday we might get some good spring pictures, right? :)

It's a catch-22 situation here. We're eager for spring but if the snow melts too fast it will flood. Frost is still over 8' deep. I do have onion sets growing nicely under grow lights. Band-aids for my green thumbs.

Today the piled-up snow was finally gone. Still have some on the deck (north side of the house). It may hit 60 on opening day Monday. Go Tigers!

Ohhhhh, my goodness! These are truly beautiful shots...but not at springtime! I certainly can understand why it's wearing on you!

After the weekend's rain most of the snow is finally gone from around my house. Only the remains of the piles I built up with the snow-blower, adjacent to the driveway (which had been tall enough that I couldn't see over them), remain. The local lake still has a rind of something white which isn't open water on it. (I wouldn't walk on it on a bet, though.) I'm trying to remember the last time the lake wasn't at least mostly thawed by the end of March. I am in the Mid-Hudson-Valley region of New York State.

There looks like here a month ago.
