Bozo, Lets see, the shrub was the monkey, Bozo... Oh yes Ronnie, it must have been Ronnie, and when he finished his 2 act play most seemed to be applauding him for a big debt and deregulation and trickle down which turned the bankers loose. I guess he did good for a well rehearsed clown, but my opinion may be because we had him as Governor too, But we also had the Govinator recently, And Jerry aka; Moon Beam is back to do his one man play… once more. Will we ever learn out here?

Truman was a failed haberdasher installed as president to take orders from the military/industrial complex.

Well General Douglas McArthur found out who gave the orders when President Truman fired him, and rightly so, for deciding he didn't have to take orders from a civilian.

He ruined the U.S.'s reputation forever by agreeing to drop 2 atomic bombs which incinerated hundreds of thousands of innocent Japanese civilians.

Have you forgotten why we were in a war with Japan? Look at the estimates of American combat deaths if we had been required to invade the Japanese homeland. The Japanese were training women and children to attempt to repulse any invasion. The total loss of "innocent" Japanese civilians would probably have been much greater than those from the two atomic bombs.

He also created a situation in the Middle East which causes perpetual war by agreeing to the creation of a Jewish homeland in Palestine.

If you could wave a magic wand and relocate the entire Jewish population somewhere else the Arabs would still be fighting one another in the Sunni versus Shiites slaughters currently ongoing in various Arab countries.

The military/industrial complex got their money's worth out of Truman.

Truman was a good, honest man who got practically nothing in the way of financial rewards. I would like to see all our politicians display the personal integrity and dedication to trying to bring the best out in Americans. Remember also who integrated the Armed Forces.

gee, if he didn't drop the bombs we would have lost a slew of young men on the home islands.....the Japanese leaders were warned about the destructive power of the bombs....they chose to ignore it...twice.......it took two doses to make them throw in the towel.......I'm not jewish, but I think they had every right to have a homeland....I will say it's a shame they can't all get along together....
you seem to be any angry person....most of the replies to this post were positive toward Truman....he had some tough decisions to make, and he made 'em....and he retired gracefully....

Larry is a troll. He will argue any point that's being made. If we ignore him maybe he will go away. If it wasn't for MEN like the brave US troops and 'Give 'em Hell Harry', Larry would be bilingual today, speaking German and Japanese fluently.

Japan was ready to surrender before the bombs were dropped. The Russians were close to invading Japan. Japan feared the Russians more than the Americans. Dropping the A-bombs on Japanese civilians was a way to show Russia the U.S. was not afraid to use nuclear power.

Integrating the armed forces was a way to get more blacks to enlist to become canon fodder.

Harry Truman was a different kind of President. He probably made as many, or more important decisions regarding our nation's history as any of the other 32 Presidents preceding him. However, a measure of his greatness may rest on what he did after he left the White House.

...

I quoted just enough to identify the source. hopthecop and I disagree on so many things, it's hard to keep count, but on this one, we totally agree. I would rank Harry Truman as one of the greatest presidents of the 20th century, along with Teddy Roosevelt, FDR and Eisenhower. He's my personal favorite.

THis from the clown who, by his own admission, paid no attention to world events until 9/11.

How many died at Pearl Harbor? How many died on the Death March? Because the Japanese refused to be part of the Geneva Convention, how many tongues did they cut out, how many did they maim and torcher?

My father fought in Germany, the war ended there. If they hadn't dropped the Atomic Bomb, he was scheduled to invade the main land of Japan, Thank God he didn't have to go there.

I think you are misquoting my statements as is usually the case from you rat packers. I have always paid attention to what goes on in the world, I just was not aware of the extent to which the mainstream media lies to us on important issues until the Big Lie of 9/11.

The U.S. could have waited for Russia to invade Japan. But the PTB didn't want Russia to occupy Japan.

I'm not misquoting you at all. I'm not going to bother looking it up again, but feel free.

If you were correct, how come the Zionist conspirators haven't flown over your house in black helicopters and eliminated you?

There are thousands of whistleblowers much more important than myself.
When they start being taken out, I may go underground. http://patriotsquestion911.com/
