Pear Tree Blossoms...
Took a couple photos as the blooms developed. (Note: not the same blossom, but definitely the same tree)

Nice shots James and Spring is surely coming.
You're just trying to cheer us up!
Love the early blooms on the blossoming trees!
Nice shots!

Very pretty, James. Yay Spring!
Nice depiction of early spring, James. Something to smile about.

That's what I say...."Yay Spring is Here". But sorry John, just heard the weather report. New England is forecast to get another dumping of snow next week. Let's hope it fizzles out between now and then.
These are really pretty, Jim. I might have cropped them tighter; especially the one in bloom. It doesn't really matter.
Up here I don't see any blossoms yet; just those cheap, beer like things - buds.

You are probably right, there's lots of just stuff on each side. But I'm lazy and shoot everything in 16:9 widescreen. I might change aspect ratios to 4:3 and give it another try tomorrow (if it's not raining). If all else fails I suppose I can move my lazy hand over to the crop tool, might need a couple Hostess cupcakes thou to get up the energy.
Humm, buds they got a lot of that I hear in St. Louis. Yea my daughter said things are still pretty dead looking. However, she does have tulips coming up.

Hi Phil...not only blessed but RELIEVED. I was so tired of the cold. We spent most of the season about 20-30 degrees below normal Winter temps. Folks down here aren't prepared for that. There sure were a lot of busted pipes down here this year. Many new homes now require sprinkler systems and lots of them were victims of broken pipes. Ours froze up once, but I got on top of it before any damage occurred...took 6 hours of cranking up the heat to thaw them. Thanks for the nice comment...the first image is from my old Sony H9...I think it has over 1,000,000 shutter actuations and just keeps going.

It has been one wild winter everywhere, but I have a positive attitude. I just had my central air replaced today, and I mean everything. I could have purchased a Df
You keep shooting that Sony until it turns to dust. Then call me and I will come to the funeral and we'll bury it with honor's. :-)

Nice to see, James. No buds here yet, altho it was in the fifties yesterday, and I managed to chisel some of the salt off the car. Could actually see some of the blue paint underneath by the time I was done.
And yes, the weather people are calling for another whopper of a snow storm Tuesday into Wednesday. This would be cause for concern but for one thing--they're never right.
Well, let me qualify that--they did actually manage to correctly forecast the sun coming up in the East once last year. I'm sure it was just a lucky guess, and whoever made that particular forecast was promptly fired.
