It is usually my practice to not get every payable upgrade to software or hardware, but to skip a version. I have the fz150, and was planning to get the next one after the fz200. Anybody know when/if a followup to that is coming out? Or are they going to go off in a different direction with the next model? Maybe I should violate my rule and get the fz200. Any thoughts?

I don't know that she has the latest camera in this series, but if you'd like to see photos taken with the Panasonic Lumix bridge camera, go to Carol Snow Milne Photography on facebook.
Hey I know Carol Snow Milne from her FB page :)
I love my FZ200. The f2.8 lens helped me to make the choice over an SX50. It's really pretty versatile.

Hi. I too bought the FZ200 to avoid carrying my 7D plus a bag full of lenses on holiday. I attach some images taken on a trip up the coast of Norway to show the benefits of the f2.8 aperture and using the camera as straight P&S. I can recommend Graham Houghton's book on the FZ200
Thank you for the photos, you and the FZ200 have produced some excellent images. I will go ahead in a few days and but one.
