Had to throw one in before the next challenge... I got this today on the ice... it is centered and the horizon is in the middle.... my glasses get so dark and it was so bright out today I couldn't use my lcd screen I was shooting blind!
Guess we'll be here a while....

Of course I had to go out and try the 100-400 with the 2x extender so this was 800mm focal lenth
not cropped or edited just resized smaller ... could use a bit of curves adjustment ...

oh ya they were all on a tripod ... that lens is darn near too heavy to hand hold and change settings lol.

sherry I saw a shepherd and now sam...how many snorers and nose pickers do you have? 3 times only and all from a dead sleep...my Casper...just a little westie...gave out a HOWL...woke us up. He was howling in his sleep
Laskalass..that first booboo is WOWWOW...I like it. And of course, composition thats good in a painting would be good in a photo...some people just have an eye for it. I like to go to the museums and look at the paintings....it is amazing. I can often catch a good image...but I could never paint one. High Noon Shooting is considered a no no due to harsh lighting, as opposed to the golden hour...soft light and glows of dawn and dusk.
PG57..no doubt in my mind you are getting better everyday.
Im learning more and more about my camera...so much more that I am getting close to coughing up some moolah for a new one.

I was taking pictures of a friends dogs and she really wanted this picture taken....................how may rules did this break and I knew it at the time, no excuses from me!

Didn't have time to find some rule breakers yesterday. In both of these, lots of rules are broken. Clutter, lack of focus, white balance. Sometimes just can't get rid of the clutter. This party was held in a garage...
