Sorry - I miss any logic here and if this is the way you chose your equipment then I chose not to comment.

And yet, here you are.

You are one of the ones that take yourself WAY too seriously. Chill for a moment and realize that the post was meant to be funny....you have no idea what criteria I use to select equipment...if you want to compare notes...let me know...

You might want to quote the post you're referring to, otherwise, it's not clear at all who you're replying to.

This was a tongue in cheek thread. No logic is intended or implied. Everyone (or most everyone) is simply having fun here. Look at some of the comments and settle back in your easy chair with your beverage of choice and have a laugh or two.

Happy Shooting All

You hit the nail on the head!

This is probably a common problem. I've made the same mistake more than once, even after I knew better.

The problem is not really the user's. It is a problem that the Ugly Hedgehog's web master should fix - at the very least, the name on the original post should be added to all reply's, whether or not they are quoting.

This continued debate about Nikon or Canon is childish, out side of Hasselblad they are the two best manufactures (if you want every possible extra gear) and are roughly equivalent. If you have one or the other feel fortunate and stop trying to compare them!!

Learn to use what you 'brung' and enjoy photography ! A picture was submitted at the camera club and won most points . The canons and nikons were red faced when the AT&T phone picture garnered the most points of the meeting ! Go figure !!

I have seen some nice photos taken with phones. In all honesty, it amazes me at times how good their technology has become! It is just not for me. I like my cameras.
