Texcaster, this particular troop travels with a full complement of musicians (drum and fife - most people mistake the red coats for British troops). Not often seen, this was a Continental bayonet charge.

Never quite saw one from a volcano, but I'd bet they're equally as fascinating.

Luckily, Jim, smoke rings move fairly slowly through the air, so they're not hard to capture. The trick is having enough resolution and color difference for it to show up.
