No one said not to pay, I only said you over-paid. If you didn't you would not get a refund. Had you saved the money instead of over paying you could have probably bought the lens a year earlier. At the minimum you could have bought it 4 month earlier!

Besides prisoners take great portraits!

You must be letting Uncle Sam keep a lot of your tax money for the year. Why let him get interest on your money when you could be putting it in your pocket.

I used my tax return to get me a Canon

EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Lens (Been wanting this lens for two years) B&H Photo had it discounted $140.00 and then Canon has a mail in rebate of $200.00 . I applied that to a Canon 7D Refurbished as a back up. mdh

I had rather over pay as I go than have to come up with a
lot at the end of the year. Thanks for looking. mdh

I do the same thing Dennis..
let them hold on 2 it - and when tax time comes you have that little nest egg to spend any way you choose.

You're going to love the combo. That lens will be heavy as an everyday lens but you are probably a lot stronger than this really old guy. Have fun!

Yes I love the combo but to tell the truth I could never
use it with out the help of my Sure Shot. It gives me
stability I can't get any other way. I have a bum elbow
and a busted rotor cup and had to have some kind of
support so I built it to do the job. Thanks for looking.
